Nurturing Excellence & Holistic Growth
Rooted in the Tamil Nadu State Board framework, the curriculum at S.B.K. Girls’ Higher Secondary School (Grades 6 to 12) is built on the principles of excellence and integrity. We strive to cultivate both strong academic foundations and core values that inspire lifelong learning, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
Middle School (Classes VI to VIII)
The focus at this level is on strengthening the foundational concepts in core subjects such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Students are encouraged to think critically, participate actively, and develop good study habits.
High School (Classes IX & X)
These crucial years are structured to prepare students for the SSLC Board Examinations. Our experienced teachers provide targeted support, revision strategies, and continuous assessments to help students excel. Co-curricular activities are also integrated to develop well-rounded individuals.
Higher Secondary (Classes XI & XII)
Students can choose streams based on their career aspirations:
1. Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry, Botony, Zoology/Computer Science, Mathematics)
2. Commerce Stream (Accountancy, Economics, Business Maths/Computer Applications)
The curriculum is delivered with a focus on deep conceptual understanding, exam readiness, and career planning. Special sessions on career guidance, competitive exam preparation, and skill-building are a key part of the Higher Secondary experience.
