Scientific Excellence
INSPIRE-MANAK – Inspiring Innovators of Tomorrow
We are proud to announce that our student R. Asmitha has been honored with the Inspiring Award under the INSPIRE-MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) initiative for her groundbreaking science project titled “Water Gas Stove.”
National Science Competitions – WOSC & VIBHA
S. Sindhu Meenakshi of Class XI B secured 1st place at the state level in the English Essay Competition conducted by the World Ocean Science Congress (WOSC) and Vijnana Bharathi (VIBHA). She represented our school with distinction at the national-level event hosted at IIT Chennai on 29.02.2024, earning a cash prize of ₹5000.
"A Scientist for Every Home 2024" – Innovation Award
R. Akshaya Pushpa of Class XII C1 won 3rd place at the district level for her innovative project titled "Water Gas Stove" in the competition organized by AAA Engineering College, Sivakasi. She was honored with a shield, certificate of appreciation, and a cash prize of ₹1000, showcasing her creative potential in scientific innovation.
Academic Competitions
Indian Constitution Day Quiz – 2024
On 26.11.2024, in celebration of Indian Constitution Day, students A.P. Lavina Sri, V. Pechiyammal, and G.Poo Manjuladevi from Class XI A5 clinched 2nd prize in a district-level quiz competition held in Virudhunagar District Katrang, securing a cash award of ₹7000 and making the school proud.
Coffee with Collector – Virudhunagar
R. Akshaya Pushpa (XII C1) earned the exclusive opportunity to participate in the "Coffee with Collector" session, organized by the Virudhunagar District Administration. She was recognized for her scientific talent and was selected to be part of a science educational tour to Sriharikota.
National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS)
In the NMMS examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, 13 students from the school qualified and earned scholarships—reflecting a strong academic foundation and commitment to student success.
Language Proficiency
Tamil Language & Literature Proficiency Test – State Level
In the State-level Tamil Proficiency Test, students V. Harini, H. Shahya, and R. Rajalakshmi from Class XI B excelled and were awarded the prestigious scholarship of Rs.12,000 per year in recognition of their excellence in the Tamil language.
